Our Church

Welcome to Silverbrook United Methodist Church.
We’re proud of our Methodist heritage of acceptance of a diversity of opinions, cultural traditions, ethnic backgrounds and beliefs. Whether you grew up going to church, haven't been to church in years, or have never been to church, you will find people at Silverbrook UMC who've been right where you are. We are the church where "everybody knows your name" and where you are treated like family.

Our mission statement is more than words on a page. Everything we do is anchored in Rest, Explore, Shine.

Our church is located on approximately 1.5 acres on Silverbrook Road where you can pause to enjoy a walk on our wooded path, sit on the swing under the Oak tree, watch nature unfold in the butterfly garden or sit in the sanctuary for quiet prayer.

We have a traditional service on Sunday mornings; children are welcome in the Sanctuary or the nursery. Sunday School is available for both children and adults during the school year. Our congregation is involved in the community in many ways whether it is sponsoring youth to attend Camp Highroad or creating health kits for UMCOR.

Experience our services, Bible studies and volunteer opportunities…get yourself connected! Young or old, married, single or single again, childless or with children, this is a place for you! We hope you’ll join us. Guests are always welcome, and we hope you will find inspiring worship, solid Biblical teaching and a friendly, Christ-filled environment.

Inviting all to Rest in the peace of Christ, to Explore the word of God and to Shine God's light in the world.
