While Christmas is a time of lights and festivities, for many people, Christmas isn’t entirely joyous. We have lost loved ones, jobs, opportunities, direction in our lives, or other losses. A Blue Christmas service, held on the longest night of the year, is a chance to sing, listen to scripture, and light candles to remember our losses and to find hope and comfort in knowing the darkness will end. Everyone is invited, not only those who have suffered this year, as we surround one another in God’s love. Join us Thursday, December 21, at 7:30pm at Silverbrook UMC and online via Webex: https://silverbrookumcrc.my.webex.com/meet/silverbrookumc
