Silverbrook United Methodist Church has a range of opportunities for all to shine their light in the world. Our mission and volunteer opportunities range from local to global.
Local Opportunities to contribute:
Spring Fling (May) and Apple Fest (Oct)/Chicken BBQ - join us as we hold a twice a year yard sale/bake sale/Chicken BBQ! You can donate items for sale, volunteer at the events, or just come an shop and eat our awesome Chicken BBQ! Proceeds are used to send Youth to Camp Highroad.
Childrens Clothing Swap (Spring/Fall) - join us for a twice a year childrens clothing swap to outfit children for the season. No money is exchanged. You can donate items, help spread the word with other organizations/families, or volunteer the day of the swap. Clothing that is not swapped is donated to local charities clothes closets.
Food Drives - participate in food drives by donating non-perishable food items for donations to local food pantries.
Global Opportunities to contribute:
In addition to supporting UMCOR we support Global mission and volunteer opportunities such as:
Health/Birthing Kits/Flood Buckets - donate items for Kits and then help us assemble kits for delivery.
